  • Way Art is a New York–based artist representation agency. For more than 30 years, we’ve curated a roster of 50+ professional illustrators and storyboard artists, matching them with TV, film, advertising, healthcare, and pharmaceutical clients. Whether you need shooting boards for a commercial, a series of medical illustrations, concept art for a pitch, or AI-assisted imagery, we’ll pair you with the right artist for the job and manage the project end to end.

  • Reach out through our Contact page or email info@wayart.com with a short description of your project — the format (storyboards, illustration, medical, AI), the scope (number of frames or pieces), your deadline, and any reference styles you like. We’ll recommend a few artists from our roster whose style fits your brief, share their portfolios, and provide a quote. Once you approve the artist and estimate, we handle scheduling, communication, revisions, and final delivery so you can stay focused on your project.

  • Every project is quoted individually because cost depends on several factors: the artist selected, the complexity and level of finish (rough sketches vs. full color), the number of frames or illustrations, usage rights, and the turnaround you need. Send us your brief and we’ll come back with a clear, itemized estimate — usually the same day or the next business day. There’s no fee to request a quote.

  • Turnaround varies by project, but storyboards can often be delivered within a day or two for shorter sequences, and illustrations typically take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks depending on complexity. We’re available 24/7 and regularly take on rush work — including overnight and same-day jobs — by pairing your project with artists across multiple time zones. If you have a tight deadline, let us know up front and we’ll tell you honestly what’s possible.

  • Usage rights are agreed in writing as part of every project estimate. Standard quotes cover the specific use you describe (for example, internal pitch, broadcast commercial, print campaign, or web). Wider usage — additional markets, extended terms, or full buyouts — can be arranged for an adjusted fee. If you’re not sure what rights you need, just tell us how and where the artwork will appear and we’ll recommend the right licensing terms.

  • Yes. Revisions are a normal part of the creative process, and most projects include a reasonable round or two of changes within the agreed scope. We encourage clear feedback at each stage — thumbnails, roughs, and final art — so adjustments happen at the right point in the workflow. Significant changes to direction or scope beyond the original brief may be quoted as additional work, but we’ll always flag this with you before any extra cost is incurred.

  • We believe AI is a powerful tool — not a replacement for human artistry. Several of our artists use AI thoughtfully as part of their process, and we offer a dedicated AI service for projects where it’s the right fit. At the same time, we help clients recognize when a project genuinely calls for the craft, judgment, and storytelling of a human illustrator. Tell us about your goals and we’ll recommend the approach — fully human, AI-assisted, or AI-led — that best serves the work.
